My Model Cave! Somewhat of a mess, but organized so I can get what I need fairly quickly. My paintbooth also doubles as a photo booth when I need it.   |

I seem to build more now that I am retired. Running out of room! Time to "retire" some of my older models.

I used to have to do my spraying in the garage, it's a standalone shed, no lining, just power and light. Not dust proof, either stinking hot or cold, the bench was a dumping ground for everyone else's stuff. So, as you do, after making a deal with the wife, I finally got a painting shed - she got a greenhouse, a potting shed and the garage! Karma stepped in and dropped a gum tree over the potting shed 5 weeks later! Funny? No, i had to get rid of that and build another 1!  Anyway, this is what I now have.   This is looking in from the front door.  This is along the left hand wall.  This is on the right hand side, spray box on the front right.  This is obviously looking back to the door, I'll retake this shot! We lined the roof and walls with foilboard and then MDF over that, had light and power installed first. Good spot for the stuff i can't put inside !! |
