Can you do bathurst without beer? I thought that was a crime in Ausssieland It pretty much is. There are still places on the Mount where wearing an empty beer carton on your head is nearly compulsory! Protection from sun, rain and empties being chucked!. I think I'll have to run dry to try to make some headway on my build face%20in%20palm_zpsmit8xdak

Can you do bathurst without beer? I thought that was a crime in Ausssieland ...................... NO !!!Brought 3 cartons for the 4 days... should be enough.. also got 5 days off, including Monday for recovery.. I know of a certain modeller who took the week off, scored a ride in the transporter parade and won a free 4day pass and spent most of the day in one of the garages!! No, it wasn't me!!

Man that looks bad (Word Censored By Forum Administrator) !!!!
Describe your repair process for rubbing through while wet sanding / polishing Dale. All I know to do is strip and repaint.

Guys, thank you very much, Wisdonm, yes, it is done with cling wrap, scrunched up while the paint is wet. I have done some basic wiring, Battery, Starter Alternator and some air lines from the compressor. Then have put the cab on for the last time.

Joe, it's just a matter of flattening it off, mask it up , usually mask to a body line or where the color changes, and then lightly shoot some more color, then re-clear the whole fender, just treat it like a real car, they don't strip the whole thing when they do a repair....

That looks pretty slick mate. I could make a crude joke about girls, the length and purple but I probably shouldn't (oops too late, lol)

Thanks Martin but there are some superb looking trucks, with a LOT more detail going into them who deserve the win more than a paint job. Tonight, i am trying to sort the inlets etc, i have Siamese'd the Turbos, so they are symmetrical now, which then means i have to make everything to fit... I've got to start thinking before i just do... sSig_DOH These are the parts that attach to the blowers, but no longer line up, so had to modify them. After some filler sets, they will get cut to correct size and smoothed out before chroming them up again.

OH WOW !!! Miss crafty i hope, and if it was with GRM, that would be awesome !! Yes it was . Coming along very nicely indeed mate! Sorry only just caught up... I did get to go and had a great time. I rode in the GRM transporter for the parade and hung around their garage. Even got to go into the garage, I loved it all, but my favourite part was the truck..
