Having a few issues with the primer sticking to the styrene i have used on the rear fenders, so i started on the interior and swore a little..  And got the black base cote on the tanks, before i hit them with the chrome.  |

I've been worried about that very problem of finding a styrene I can bend for my guards that the paint will like. Apparently it could be an issue especially with masking? Interior looks good, love the gearstick!

Thanks mate, i'll let you know in a couple of days about the sticking and masking thing , i now want to do a mild low rider style paint job, so i guess i'll know soon enough.  |

Not a lot to show for 3 nights of prep work, and still need more, so i went out and painted my fuel tanks tonight... pretty happy.  |

Thanks very much, but your doing a mighty fine job by your self, but i'm sure your ol' boy knows the secret to doing that effect, hit him up next time your painting....  Today, i got the majority of the paint down, just needs a good block and polish, and lots of BMF and chrome.. ( The real color is probably in between the two pics, i have to come up with a way of getting the right light to show it properly for final pics. )     |

THANK YOU very much all... I have spent the last 3 nights polishing, and correcting a few spots where i rubbed through, but it's ready for some BMF.. BUT, with Bathurst this week-end, there is not going to be much more done except BEER..    |
