Looking good mate. Great colour choices as usual, your detail is in the paint which distracts the eye from any lack of detail! I can't match the paint so I add a few bits here and there to distract the viewer the other way rolling. In my opinion, a clean build is often what makes the model, not paint or extra detail icon_smile_2cents

Thanks Martin Tonight, i have had a bit of a go at coming up with something different, other than the turbo's and superchargers that are supplied in the kit... I am thinking of adding these 2 x bug-catcher style scoops to the superchargers, as the kit has a real big...and ugly box style intake. Also, the turbo's draw from this same box, and the exhaust exits out the side of the hood, which is fine on a drag truck, but i want to have some sort of filter drawing from this hole in the side of the hood, and will exit the exhaust out under the truck... thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon A lot of thinking hard and fabricating inlet and exhaust pipes i think... here is where i'm at tonight.

I'm finding that getting the right look for this is harder than I thought it might be. Dry run plans aren't coming up with the goods

Didn't like to say, but I'm not struck on the scoops ! How about a TPI style with pipes each side, kind of modern looking, or vertical pipes stacked up might look cool ? Keep playing around with it, your think of something I'm sure ! thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon

Tanks really suit it being long, great idea for the ends ! I'm with you with you not knowing about trucks, but yes it's COOL doing something a bit different ! ( although mine's looking more like a lowrider truck each time I touch it ) Looking forward to more as always ! icon_shoutout_zpsg7nrfmdc

Cheers Bruce... it took a lot of experimenting to come up with that... eventually Today, i made some mounting brackets for the tanks, and started planning out the body work for the frame.

Mate, this is coming along nicely, don't worry about not knowing stuff - it's a custom look. Did you ever see Trick my Truck? They didn't worry about the 'norms' there, fake exhausts, cuts and shuts etc etc. If it can be imagined, it can be built especially in plastic! Continue on mate, I love it!
