Thought I would try and do this one by the end of the month. Will be going for an oob build but may add fuel lines/plug wires and a few extra detail if time allows it. Not sure on color combo may do some googling for a combo I like. Cheers Steve

This is a good kit to build. Big killer engine in it. Goes together very well.

I do like these cars. Not as aggressive looking as some of the other muscle cars of the era but I do like 'em just the same. Looking forward to this build. egyptian

I like the orange as well. Although I would probably do an orange / black interior. But even white would Rock!!

I like the cool green approach. I don't see just a whole lot of builds painted that color and it has a really clean look to it.

It's going to look good no matter what color you use.

Either way mate, it WILL look awesome, some basic engine detailing would knock it out of the park Steve.

Yellow is not one of my favorite colors, but this looks pretty. White interior will go very well with it. Can't wait to see the engine for this bad boy.

Paint looks great and you got some good coverage on it. A little wet sanding and some polish'll make 'er shine like a new un!!

Are you going with any kind of striping on that Bee? I know that kit doesn't come with a C stripe. Maybe if you want to trade for a C stripe, I would like to have a Super Bee tail stripe for one of my AMT Pro-Stock '70 Coronet kits!?! But it's gonna be a beauty no matter what!!!

Thanks for the comments everyone. Sorry David have no tail stripes left as I also used mine on other projects and only have c stripes myself. Cheers Steve

That looks like a close match to Top Banana. A high impact color offered on Mopars back then! I think its a perfect color for this build, bee's are yellow after all! Personally, I'd go with black stripes and interior.

That yellow really works with that stripe mate, and a black interior will top it off i reckon.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Got the bonnet clear coated tonight and hope to have a few pics up tonight. Bit disappointed that they haven't included the 440 decals for the bonnet scoops or even the 440 six pack decal for the air cleaner top so may have to finish it off without them until I track them down. Have also started detailing the front grill with black grill and the gray surround but unfortunately wont have the time to drill out the head lights if I want to finish by the end of the month but have a spare grille so will experiment with some paint to make them more realistic. Cheers Steve

That's some good BMF work there Steve. Don't give up on the AMT kits too quick Steve. Every brand has their good and bad kits. I don't usually have bad results with Revell kits but I bought a Revell Blue Max kit and it was the worst kit I have put together. I hated that kit. It's the same with AMT and all the others.
