Todays installment: Yes, the awe inspiring 68 Ford Shaker hood scoop. Just had to have it, the Bronco just needs it. Ford should have done this from the get go!! Olson brothers made it happen! They give you a paper pattern that fits the hood perfectly and precisely locates the hole for the scoop.(Unfortunately, the pattern didn't survive the process) I cut the scoop hole out of the pattern with a razor blade. Attached the pattern to the hood and colored in the area with a sharpie marker. That left me with this black pattern on the hood, showing me exactly what to remove. After carful cutting and filing the opening to shape for proper fitment...Taa Daa!!! A Shaker hood for an early Bronco!! Of course I couldn't leave the Shaker scoop alone either. I just had to drill/bore out the scoop openings for that added extra bit of depth. Last pic is a (Teaser) mock up for ride height and wheel tire choice appearance. The truck will sit higher than in the pic but...It gives you an idea of where this is going.

Next installment: 3D printed suspension parts mock up for a 3 inch lift and maybe a few in work chassis pics...Stay tuned and thanks for tuning in!!!

Oh man......this is looking REALLY good Pete. Love all the aftermarket goodies you've got for this and it's got the perfect look to it. Holy schmokes man!!

Ok so, no wheel& tire action. (Still deciding on a color for the wheels) But I do have a pic of the engine! Decided to add some cobra rocker covers to dress it up a bit and painted the intake aluminum. This Bronc is supposed to be hopped up after all. Got a few interior panel pics too, yeah I'm painting it Grabber orange. Ugly color but...It fits this truck well. Have to put the speedo and radio decals on the instrument panel yet and get the seats done.

Next up should be body work, Going to remove the side trim from the body and get it ready for paint. Stay tuned!!

Thanks Joe! Got the body work done today, and got it in final prime, ready for paint. First I had to get rid of the side trim. Dont like it, don't want it. Some careful sanding with 220 grit and a follow up with finer grit paper and a bit of filler and filler primer. And its ready for final prime...


Next time: Should have a paint finish in Grabber orange on it and maybe...Maybe another mock up with finished wheels/tires on it. Stay tuned and thanks for looking/commenting!!!
