Folks I just couldn't resist this one. I've been wanting it for a while now and have been after one pretty diligently now for a couple of months. On ebay these range anywhere from $20 for a pieced together used one all the way to $267 for two kits a card and something else that I can't remember. I found this one for $30 at J-bar Hobbies though. I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival....

It used to make for a decent saving but our cash isn't worth as much now. I do still get stuff from the states though,

You guys remember that Pro Street VW Bus I was building right? I had to push it to the back ground for a little bit while I brainstormed on just how in the world I was going to get that thing longer still yet to put all the things in it that I wanted to. Well..............that changed late last week when I spied something on Ebay that would work out just fine. Using the same idea of having a Rick Dobbertin 350 in it and slammed to the ground in mind I'll be able to move forward with it now.
Got this just yesterday: (it's still sealed too)

If you'd said you needed a longer body for it I could have saved you some money mate, I have a more than a few hasegawa vw van and pick up kits and bodies. I could have easily spared one

I could have easily spared one I do appreciate that Les. I think this one's gonna work out very well for what I need because I needed a flat chassis to boot and this one's PERFECT. I may be interested in those smooth bumpers though.

I have a lot of them from each version thats been released and some of the revell.de ones too

I might be able to squeeze this one in at the later part of the year or maybe the first part of next year God willing. My brothers dream car is a 1970 Maverick so I thought I'd go to work picking the kit and parts up for this one.
The full kits usually go for between $150-$290 if you can find them. I got this one from a friend over at MCM for ALOT less than that. I also scrounged up a built one.
The kit:
and the built up version. He likes Cragars so here's a shot with those:
and a shot with MY faves.........Weld Draglites:
Sorry brother, my vote goes to the Draglites!!

I'll message and see what they'd want for shipping, (one guy wanted $75 to ship 4 resin wheels!!) It's only the body. glass and hood I want anyway since I have a mustang chassis that should fit with a couple of mods.
