Thanks! How about a sound clip? I could record my maverick running and play it against a few pics of the charger...If I could figure out how to do the dubbing with my home computer. Yeah, the Polyglass GTs' just work...

Ok..Waiting for glue to dry...In the home stretch with this build!! So, how about a few shots of the chrome foil work to pass the time??? Note how well defined the wheel lip trim and belt line trim are. All the trim has some dimension to it now. Heres a few details to round out this interlude... Soft Ray windshield Hood mounted T/S indicators Back/Front and whats in between Enjoy!! And stay tuned...

Ok gang! Its been a 44 day build. A record for me for a show car build... Its almost done, gotta toss the door handels and wiper arms on it and walk away. Soo, after this installment here, the finished car will appear in the "On the road" section. May be a day or two before I can set up for some good pics of it soo... Heres a teaser for ya!!! Thanks for following along, commenting and generally tolerating me being a long winded bandwith hog. Stay tuned!!! Pete

This thread has been a master class in scale modelling. There are so many things I knew nothing about. Although I will never build at this level, there are so many small details I can copy even if I just resume building as a kit assembler. Thank you.
Regards,
M

You sir just made my day. My greatest hope with this build thread was to impart some idea or inspiration to those who looked on. I am immensely gratified that you got something out of it. Thank you. PS: Never say never... Pete

Wow Pete I hadn't seen the last few pages, glad I caught up !
Absolute master class from start to finish... It goes to show it's the patience and attention to detail in EVERY part that this makes a winner. I've bookmarked this build as there's so many ideas and tips, I've learnt a lot thanks !
It's inspiring too, to see what can become of that little pile of plastic parts you see, when the lid comes off that new kit you've just bought !
Thanks for posting and documenting this build, i enjoyed every bit of it !!
