Well ive had a picture of this car on my PC for ages, just love it and always thought id build it one day !
Cant source the right wheels so im going for something similar to this, probably bigger rims and lowered all round !
Nothing too crazy really for this, just clean, smooth and low !
Aint she beautiful ! big-drooling-smiley-emoticon
Its not arrived yet but heres the kit ive ordered, the optional custom version is quite close actually !

Dude, I have that same pic as an inspiration for my pending build of a 71. Great minds think alike I guess! Haha yes I'm glad I got in first !! If your building a 71 version check the front headlights ! They are too small and spaced out too much, on EVERY kit available of it ! If you look at a standard kit and compare the real car it just looks weird ! Just thought I'd let you know, it can be fixed, but it's a bit of a pain that's all...

By the way, I believe the inspiration picture doesn't actually exist ! It's photo-shopped (is that right? ) created out a mix of pics... cant-believe-my-eyes-smiley-emoticon

Yeah, found that out after I bought the kit.
I think you've seen Adam Leyk's post on MCM on how he fixed his to look more realistic and I plan to follow his lead. And yes, it looks to be a pain.

Thanks guys !
Well the model has arrived, im well pleased with it i highly recommend them ( so far ) Really nice engraving and some great details.
So i thought id get started, first off a smooth firewall, then I made up inner fenders in cardboard... Then transfer it to plastic, and after lots of trial and errors... So it looks like this ! Needs a bit more clean up but....

Thanks guys..... While DeeCee has built half his kit im still playing with the engine bay.... I didnt like the gap at the front of the rad so ive added a scratch built piece to fit ! It has to fit within the bonnet shape or nothing fits properly ! Ive removed the bonnet pin plates, covered the radiator top, and now its all getting smoothed in, I need white primer too... The Hemi is a tight fit but everything still fits !

Nice work! I have to do something similar for my Charger because I had to remove the inner fenders to fit the tires.

Thanks guys Thought i`d get some modified bits ready for primer, then paint them in one go if the weather gets better.... So next was the dash, cut up and smoothed, im thinking of adding a center console next ?
Before it looked like this......
Chopped up...
Heres the interior mocked up, more soon !

Thanks guys...
I`ve been messing around with centre consoles, and tried quite a few. This one i like but think its just too simple... icon_hmm_zps07rcoppf This is only the shape, it wont be flat, just trying out ideas... Heres standard console... And heres my new one...full length, p/e gearstick surround, pin gearstick and a tray for small change !
