Looking good Martin.
I like how the original console has the scallop in it, however, considering your build theme, your second "smooth" console probably is the better choice.
I like the short throw shifter too.
Carry on sir....

Thankyou chaps ! Actually got a bit of spraying done yesterday, but im still going slow on this ! Seems to be taking ages to build anything lately, but im happy how its coming out ! The interior has been painted Ivory, with a contrasting gold for the dash and scratchbuilt centre console . The 4 dials and badge are similar to the original cuda`s dash, just smoother ! Still lots to add, steering, gear levers, buutons on the console etc etc, and i might add another colour to the interior as its a bit plain at the mo ! So i guess im not going to be following the original car colours at the beginning of the thread, maybe a mix of golds and ivory ? No idea yet, but the engine bay and floorpan are ivory too ! More pics when its finished ! . . .

Thankyou chaps ! Interior is pretty much finished, still not glued down but finished ! And i finally used my p/e steering wheel ive had for a while, new colour carpet and rear shelf breaks the interior up a bit. Ive added a p/e grill for the centre console and electric window switches for the doors too. Pin shifter and indicator stalk on a scratch built column, and some buttons in the console ( which i might change! ) More soon, engine time next i reckon...

I think I said this before, but this car is very Ridler-y.
I hope you take that as a compliment.
Super clean sculpting and smooth lines.
I think the color choice also works for the super custom-ness.
Great work Martin!

More mock ups, i check everything still fits together reguarly, best not to find any problems later.... Still not definately set on these wheels, rears are fine but the front are just a tad too big i think ? Looking for quite an open style of wheel as i have p/e disc brakes for it.. Engine was progressing, but i thought I`d de-chrome the valve covers, carbs etc. They have been soaking in bleach for 4 days now and they are just starting to clear, Revell certainly chrome these things thick ! Nearly 1 month in and this is it so far, once wheels are decided i can play around and SLAM it ! WellIoutta_zps281b835e More engine updates soon, at least the headers are fitted and luckily still clear the engine bay alright ! ( panic attack there ! )

Do you have a style of wheels in mind? I can probably help

Thanks Stitch,
Has to be low profiles and chrome, 20" and smaller front wheels, maybe 18" ? ?
Apart from that something similar to the original cars maybe ? As I said I also want to be able to see the discs ideally, but I only seem to have styles like this, they are all same sized ! !

Ill have a look through what ive got mate, I have a wagon rod wheels set that might fit, Been a while since i looked at them but i think they were big n little halibrand style. Its a pity aoshima only do each wheel style in one size cos some of them might have worked for you.

Yes I looked through Hiroboys list of wheels, saw half a dozen i loved but all are 1 size... Have you tried hlj or 1999? both are in japan but you can get 2 sets of wheels for the price of one. Ive got some big n little rims from hobby design but they would be way too big. This is them on a 1/24 revell cuda and i used them on the madmax mustang too.
I dont think theyd work on 1/25 unless your building a jada style cuda

I forgot to mention ucsp, they do a lot of different wheels. They say their 1/24 but compared to the aoshima rims they seem undersize so should do for 1/25. Most are available in different sizes too so if you contact dimitry he might do a mixed set for you. they have their own shop and are on ebay. Shipping takes around a month though but they are very nice wheels and tyres, up there with hobby design in quality but better tyres
