Come on Tubbs, I want to see you finish yours mate... Thanks mustang , It just seems like this one wants to take its time..... gaah Anyway I had a good weekend on this, got the engine started and the interior. The engine is pretty much out the box, with lots more chrome ! ! Lots of little bits still to do, including wiring it all up, but its getting there..  And I started the interior... By cutting out the door panel, and then smoothing the floor and the door panels out ! I also made up the boot sides too.. Confused ?? Well I have lots of fur, felt and chrome card so I'm hopefully scratch building a whole fur interior, with mirrors and deep button upholstery ! ! More soon but here's the basic floor, and a pair of scratch built front seats......    holy cow. moving right along. I got parts off the tree, raided the parts box, found a 409, (if you don't know, I am a cubic inch nut. cant have enough) and some different wheels. really digging for some white walls.
so, most people know me on here, I love joking around but also of speaking my mind..... did you get those front seats out of a living room in 1978??? (hoping your laughing right now).... yea, I can't go full on low rider like that. you made those front seats? really nice job duplicating them. you made them from some kind of foam I take it? fantastic!!!
I will tell you what... mine ain't gonna be anywhere near this build..... great job.

If I may offer a small amount of kindly meant help. An ever so slight medium wash over the painted surfaces of that block/ heads will bring out alot of that molded detail for you and give it a little more depth. Rock on brutha!! |

Tubbs, mate I did laugh, yes 1978 living room is the look I'm after ! ! Will post up more soon as its coming along quite well... Can't you use the whitewall decals from the lowrider kit, there are 2 sizes of transfers to choose from ??

Thanks guys ! Hope your hungry Crunch, here's more..... Quick update, the floor parts done ! Centre console and back seat were mocked up in cardboard, transferred to plastic sheet and glued in. A flat sheet was added to the floor too to hide the dips in the rear footwell. Then chrome card, cut to look like separate tiles was added, and all the various fur and foam etc. glued in. You can see the strip added to create a dash from too ! I had to re-do the floor completely, and the back seat four times before I liked it, and its fiddly but I'm happy now ! Gets quicker now as I've got a theme to continue through the interior ! More soon guys....   |

Thanks guys ! Well for the time being I'm calling the interior done ! I've added the dash, swivel seats etc and just mocked it up to check the fit ! Leaving this for now and getting back to the engine and running gear, The months going quick and I want to finish this ! !   |

Haha...Thanks Guys ! Had some free time today so thought id finish up the motor. Cant believe how long I spent wiring this thing up, but I'm glad its done ! Just the starter motor and fuel line to add !!   |
