Love these crazy old kits, wish id built a few of them and actually kept them !
Great job, looks really neat and i like the chain detail !
One day im getting my favourites, a Lil Coffin and a Boot Hill express... just need to arrange an overdraft to pay for em ! |

Well each of those kits seem to be on an approx 10 year re release schedule with the last being 2013 so they could show up again at normal retail prices at any time now. I am working on the Tom Daniels series but would certainly deviate for a Boot Hill |

This build brings back some good memories. I helped a friend of mine build this kit when I was in my early teens. He presented it to his dad, who owned a bar and grill, and his dad displayed it proudly behind the bar. Unfortunately the bar burned down with the build inside.

Thanks guys. There is so much more that could be done with this kit such as using real chain, a better looking complete engine, drilling the velocity stacks out, opening the cowl vents etc but I wanted to keep this as close to OOB as I possibly could. The real thing (the model came first and the real one was based on that) shows many things that could be "upgraded".  |

You just can't go wrong with one of these. All the wood detail is on point. I'm gonna have to do one of these now to go with my paddy wagon

This turned out great! 9y.o you would be super proud. You've really done the kit justice with the extra detail on the kegs, dash etc. Well done.
