Can't wait to see the finished product Les. Have you considered Alclad for the chrome? About the only folks I've seen get attachment points for chrome right on any kit I've ever built was the AMT Beetle Bus that I'm building and that was with ONE of the TWO bumpers in it. They attached the bottom of the bumper to the sprue instead of the sides or top. Really made clean up easy on that one. Why they didn't do the same with the other bumper is baffling to me. Get it right on one ....................but not the other. icon_hmm_zps07rcoppf

Just loading up the finished pics now. This put up a fight towards the end with none of the glass even close to fitting and the top being about a milimetre too short, the front suspension is pretty tricky to get in place, and it's as low as it would go, the tyres are sitting on the tops of the arches which spoils the look a little. Every piece of chrome needed work to fit and the interior needed trimming to get the body down, and the glass to go around the sides of the back seat, and finally the hinges wont let the hood sit right, but removing them will leave nothing to hold the hood up. Just generally lots of little bits that made the finish take a bit longer, but it's done
