Dang it I hate it when that happens!  I had to repaint my dang hood on my 56 F-100 seven friggin' times before I was finally happy with it.  Hang in there Les. You're gonna kill it.

Stitch..... this is exactly why most of my builds never make it past the paint stage. not that I don't try, just too many paint, tape, buffing, polishing gremlins in my basement. you will get it. don't be weak like me... push thru man!!! we are all counting on you!!!

Cheers guys, it's just sat with the wheels under it in the pics, I'd have to cut a lot of the chassis to get it that low so it's going to be about 1/8 inch off the ground.It's going to be a day of foil tomorrow then I can get back on the interior.

Been doing a little bit of foil but it's slow going and nowhere near finished so no pics of that yet. I do have some pics of the interior though. I've used sticky felt for the carpet and parcel shelf, and continued with the seats doing the thread thing. I only have the front seat (redoing the front base) and back of the rear seat left to do but it's still slow going, especially since the thread doesn't like tight corners, lol. The actual colour is somewhere between the 2 pics.   |

Well the lack of internet has meant I can spend more time on the slow parts of this. I have the interior finished (14 hours of sticking down thread  ) and the body is polished. Now I am on final assembly and my only option for getting online is to go to the pub (it's a hard life, lol)   |

Really hoping I can get this finished today, all the glue on chrome pieces are putting up a fight and I have to do a lot of cleaning up on the window surround, every tab that holds it to the sprue is on the outside of the chrome and will need foiled. I also have the clear parts to fit to the lights and glass. It's not too much to do but every part seems to be taking longer than normal.
