I want to build another one of these, but this time it will be a WEAPON.. I have been collecting a few bits for this over the last couple of years which includes some big wheels, and a pair of monster Turbo's

Leon , Mike, thanks guys, Martin, your onto me mate, it was a late night last night getting the rear fenders pumped. Start with some relief cuts. Start pumping... by adding blocks of plastic to fill in the cuts, and hold shape... eventually. NOW THEY FIT

icon_writing_zps7tebrblw lil%20Johnny_zpsdiuawuxb OK, so does this distort the area around the guard much or do the relief cuts prevent/reduce that? Going to be lots to learn here!!!

OK, so does this distort the area around the guard much or do the relief cuts prevent/reduce that? Going to be lots to learn here!!! The relief cuts take pressure off the whole guard, i can stretch the lower section out a large amount, due to it being long and slim, and a long cut helps it to stretch gradually, it runs from the back of the door, right through to the rear guard. The upper section, not so much, but i don't want to pump it too much, as i want it to blend into what i have done below it, and not look like a box section. The cuts open up, which helps it to conform to the new shape, and they just need filling to give it a whole new look. Sounds simple, but it's a long way from it mate, i have buggered up a couple of 1/25 scale bodies over the years.... but you don't get to see those ones

Here is the UGLY side of customization.... the bits i don't usually bother you all with. Filling in those gaps with plastic and CA super glue, this way, i need bugger all filler, which means less chance of sink back after paint. And a quick go with the dremmel.

Cheers guys, this pic, not so exciting, but it shows what can be done with a little patience, and all the plastic filling i did, this rear quarter is as smooth as a lady's butt cheek, it has a slight film of filler, and that is it . 3 more to go.

Thankss for following guys, and i'm glad you're learning something at the same time Body has cleaned up beautifully. I have also removed pretty much everything from the engine bay, that is not essential, like the inner tubs etc. And here is a sneek peek of what i will try and fit into this bad boy..
