Nice work mate, I think your's is the first time I've seen the brushes on the guards Thanks, I have used the brushes for the guards before. I had a little help in the inspiration for what to use from dad. The only time I have used fake eyelashes is in my models haha. I hope you sent dad in the shop to buy them mate, lol

So it is coming up to the end of the month and I have to get cracking. I have been working hard on adding those few bits of details to pull it all together. All these little projects are thankfully coming together quite nicely. I have been working on the exhaust stand and the support for the susie coils which I have now completed. This had me looking at some of the other details at the back of the cab where there are other hoses, hand rails, air con unit, batter box etc. I have added some more detail to the back of the chassis. With the light in the chasis cover and the tail lights. At the front I have the photo etc for the grill and the bug guard added, arials, lights. (This was done earlier but only posting picture now.) I'm getting really excited now its all coming together. Only a couple more things to add and it will be completed.. more photos to come really soon!

Thanks I thought I would step it up for this model. I haven't done this much extra added detail before but I really wanted to give it as much a realistic effect as possible, so a lot of referencing to my photos but I do feel that it has paid off and I can see it has by all the positive comments I have received.

So happy to finally starting the bull bar. I have been wanting to so this for a while but needed dad's expertise to help show me how. He wrote it down step by step and then I went away and put it together. I'm really impressed with the results as this is my fist attempt at making one. First step was to measure up the sizing and what plastic I needed. I then had to look at the angles of the uprights. Then I put the top on. After this I took it from 2D and made it 3D by boxing it in. The next part was a little trickier, working out the curves for the edges and making sure they matched up. I only had to do one of them again because I made it a little too short.. so not too bad I think. So now I am almost finished. There will be a couple more things to add but I think I will save those photos for the finished product. Keep your eyes opened.. photos coming soon.

I think you did a great job.
I appreciate the design. It integrates nicely with the design of the grille.
Many times a bull bar, (cattle guard in these parts) just looks like a gaudy add on, but you
have made a tasteful, useful accessory.
Nice work, ma'am.

Thanks for the encouraging comments guys!!
I really wanted to make sure that I could keeps my build as close to the real one as possible and by being able to build the bullbar and get it to work as I did I am really happy with. (my previous build of this truck doesn't have the bullbar but seeing it on this one really compliments the truck.)
Check out the completed build to see it all put together and the finished bullbar. I hope you have enjoyed seeing my build.
