While i am waiting for good weather to paint the Impala, i decided to build a street monster. A guy at work has a 3D printer, so we are trying out a few things, like BIG TURBO'S !! And what else to use them in, other than a MOPAR, with a Twin turbo HEMI... !! AND, i want to just go a little over board with wheels , stance ,... and just build something i would build in real life, if the money was there I removed the centres from a set of Pegasus Phat Daddy's, and will insert the kit centre from the rear, giving it a massive off-set. This was a 3 piece print, so i gave it a quick clean up, to see what it would look like, and a quick cote of metalic paint. And sitting in an engine bay, so you can see how big it is.. I reckon in real life, it would be a good 110+mm .... x2, on a HEMI.. This will be a good sized project over a couple of months i reckon..

Thanks for the interest guys, and sorry for keeping you all waiting, but i have been doing lots of "uninteresting" , and fiddly stuff, so here is a couple of pics of where i'm heading so far, all in the name of getting it down in the weeds.. Front inner fenders needed to be raised. BEFORE AFTER And fill some horrible hinge gaps. Next is to mini tub it, raise the rear inner wells and move them inboard a little. BEFORE Im lucky on this one, i don't need to do anything to the chassis, just the tubs. 1 done, 1 not. Still needs some clean up, but LOTS of room now.

Leon, Bruce,... thanks guys I stripped all the chrome off the rims, and had to machine out the rear of the rim, ( with a scalpel only), so the centre could come in from the back..

Looks great mate and simple, but looks can be deceiving You're turning this into an art form! Thank you guys very much, Deano, this is the most complex rear end i have ever attempted, so far there is a good 6-7 hours in it..... and now i will have to do it on all of them... oh_jeez-1018_zpskf8ctjic

You could always mount them back buy the firewall on both side of motor it will be snug but you will have room up front
