another day, another kit. I have one of the pre painted 2016 camaros coming home too after the seller offered a discount. Handy tip for ebay, if theres a kit your interested in, save it in your watch list and sometimes you get offered it cheaper. I also got a pair of sprue cutter and curved tweezers, along with a load of plastic strips and sheet. And i contacted c1 resin about the fender skirts on their vw bug van and they were happy to sell me just them. I will be putting them on the hebmuller

When it comes to rare vw kits, you wont find any much rarer than this, if it was a steak it would still be saying moo and i got this 64 caddy built up to, one mirror is missing but i probably wouldn't use them anyway

Some more stuff. this will be chopped up to build a new beetle wagon. If i do the cuts right i might have enough left for a pick up I can see a flatty motored rod in this with a few tricks this I just got because volkswagen. It has a slightly damaged roof but i think it might not matter too much as it might become a mk6 golf instead of remaining a mk5. I'll have to do some research into this but i've seen real mk5s updated with mk6 body panels and i think the hood and roof will work as is but the sides will need reshaped along with the lights and bumpers.

I might have to give up my job due to this virus hanging about too since i'm suceptible to virus anyway due to my lung condition. I hope i dont have to give it up though, its not a great job but its a good bunch to work for and with. I'll be speaking with my doctor before i make any decisions though

The human interaction is sometimes the best bit, but we all need that too. Good luck with it all buddy.

Since I've got all the vw kits I was after I'm now starting on the euro fords. This escort is kinda hard to find but i now have 2. This one is complete and the decals look to be usable too. My other one was a bagged kit and the decals were toast in it, and the tyres were also missing. The vw santana is a diecast but I'll be adding some better rims and lowering it a lot. It was listed as 1/24 but its a bit smaller then i expected. Still it'll look decent among my other vws

My first road car was a 4 door with a 2litre pinto. I think it spent more time in the ditch than on the road though but that I blame on the tiny tyres

Some more arrivals recently I also got another set of the teddy bear rims but in 17", a set of hobby design bbs type wheels in 16" and the remains of a c7 corvette which is complete except for the body. Theres more on the way from uscp in ukraine and some resin from the parts box in australia and i'm sure i've forgotten some stuff And finally I put the blame for this one on Joe, it a car i'd never really paid attention to but his build gave me some ideas for the future

Ooh I love that Honda wagon, man you buy some cool kits ! !
Did you have any luck with Pegasus lowrider wheels ? I can't find a supplier anywhere (unless it's adding £30 postage from the USA ! ) if you see any can you let me know, maybe order a few sets to share ?
Sure I've got a receipt from my last order somewhere, if it shows up I'll pm you !

I found a set on ebay that were listed in the 1/1 section so had no bids but none in any shops. modelkars stocked them but they shut last year. Its finding them with decent shipping thats the problem but i might try bna models in austrtalia. the £ is about double their $s just now so i've been getting some resin stuff from them

Nice kits Les! I have that Anglia Gasser too, that's a oldie but goodie! I've been gathering parts for it for a while now, its going to be a 70s style rod when it done but in the brit style so jag irs, rover v8 and slot mags or cragars. I've got a spare body so i can widen the arches for it. hopefully it'll be similar to this

It took me a couple of years to find one at a price I would pay, on this side of the pond they tend to be over priced imo. Still trying to find doors for the van version too cos I have a body and hood for it and this one wont be using the kit chassis so finding doors is my current job

Couple of new arrivals. I've been after the capri for ages and finally got one after a bidding war on ebay. The morris van came from australia and will probably be done curbside as i bought the wrong one so no chassis or interior. I've also got a selection of air cooled wheels coming from uscp
