OK, So I have remembered why this one never progressed too far, I'm running around in circles with it..Decided to change the rear seat area, to more of a seat looking thing instead of the flat sheet, nearly done with it. I had swapped the blower for a different unit, but screwed the paint on it, so have gone back to the original one, and stripping the chrome off it and will paint that one. BUT, have made some actual progress with interior parts. It has a mish mash of gauges, well, because race car!! (it's actually because the decals from 1997 pretty well dissolved themselves and I had to find others that fit!!)

Well, still slow going on this. I am currently converting my '65 Falcon to 5 speed, so that is eating up a lot of free time. But have had some bench time, I notice on this stock version I built that it has a Clutch cylinder: The Maniac version, being a hydromatic car, wont need it. I deleted it and tidied up the brake booster: Also finished off the back seat too. I did a bit of experimenting with the drivers seat paint, to make it shinier than the passengers, to give the impression of worn vinyl. Also deleted the head rests: More updates soon. Thanks guys.

Nice spot on the master cylinder mate, most would have just gone with what was there. The old coon will haul a bit better with 5 cogs i reckon mate.

Thanks guys, I am currently working on the engine details. Electric%20shock%20smiley_zpsxaze8m1s Going to fit external oil cooler & filter relocation, with braided hoses & AN fittings. Brake lines, fuel system and aftermarket style ignition system, on top of the normal detail stuff. Have to be VERY careful with placement of it all too. Space is at a premium!!!

Thanks guys, killed a few hours at the bench yesterday, and got a bit done. I had forgotten about front shock mounts in the car face%20in%20palm_zpsmit8xdak So I used a spare set from the rear of the Revell Willys: Yep, they'll work, cut cut. Voila! They will mold into the engine mounts well too. Got my oil line fittings in the sump: On the remote filters too: Bit of rubber black and Molotow on the drive belt (it amazes me how this gets shinier the more you put on) And also found a spares box driveshaft that is perfect (Another important detail that kept getting overlooked) Thanks for looking guys, appreciate any comments or criticism.

Engine time!! Alright!! My favourite part of any build. So far I have gotten a bit done, very time consuming on this one though. Scratch built fuel block on the back of the blower. I spent over an hour just plumbing the injector lines into the fuel block! Valve covers and blower are Molotow liquid chrome through the airbrush, over gloss black base. Also painted and wired the MSD ignition module. Thanks for looking.
