I have built a couple of these Cadillac kits, but i want one with a roof !! So, i got stuck into this last night, i will start with the soft top for the basic shape, and then out comes the blades...      And now i add an inner skin, which will act as a roof lining. (hood lining).  Next is the outer skin.. |

Good choice for this one. I think HT caddies look so much better. I can wait to see your wheel choice because I know this will be in the weeds!

Great modeling minds eh Are you using red for the interior too? not that it matters (lol) cos I'm going for mint green to brighten up what would be a very dark car otherwise |

I thought i had the roof sorted, but it had a major low in the centre.  So i added another layer of styrene to it, and filled the edges.   After doing the sand, putty, sand spray putty, sand spray putty thing about 6 times, i finally got a smooth even roof to put on it.  Also got started on the engine   |

Cheers guys, i'm glad that roof is out of the way, now to get started on the rest. I hit the chassis tonight with some Viper Purple, it loos blue in the pics, but it is VERY PURPLE..  |

Awesome job on that roof Dale and nice work with that motor. Have used that shade on a superbee so this will look super cool.

The colour looks purple on the motor, think it'll really suit the caddy especially with all that chrome
