This creation was done when i was 16...... i am now 51, it was redone about 15+ years ago, and is now, really a crooked sagging mess. So, as it is the only "working vehicle" i have, i will resurrect it, straighten it out, try de-sag the roof, also bring it into the 21st century. It is currently Pro Street, had a quad blown engine, and really needs a lift, so.... here goes.. This picture shows how sagged the roof is, i run a straight file across the top, the red section is where it does not touch it..

Shows you had a lot of talent even at 16. Amazing the car survived this long. It will be very interesting to see what you have learned over the years will show up in this build.

If that was your skill back then, no wonder your builds are as detailed as they are now. Definitely lots of experience. What can you possible do to make it better?

Thanks for the flattery guys. .... well, not a lot to show you, except for a lot of sanding and filling has gone on. And i do have the PERFECT example of why you should NEVER throw anything away, as i have said, i built this thing when i was 16ish, and rebuilt about 15 + years ago, i think it was closer to 20 . Now, the bonnet ( hood) has a MASSIVE hole in it, and i am completely changing direction with this, so i started looking at ways of filling the hole, then i though..... what if i had kept one of the hoods from way back then.... thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon WELL BUGGA ME !! I DID... egyptian

Cheers Joel, i have quite a few bits, but never as much as i would like... Steve, yep, very different, but that is what i like about this hobby Well, sorted some wheels, 20" on the front, and 24" on the rear, just need to alclad them so they match, and this "should" be the final stance..

Now thats looking cool Dale, glad you got rid of those rims and chose these ones, was never a fan of the original rims that came with the kit. Got a name for the limo business? thought express limos would suit it

Dennis and Joel, as long as you can work out where i'm heading, that is the main thing, and if you learn something, that is even better guys.

I had a bit of time today, and found some matching seats, from a Cuda i think, just had to narrow them. Then a base cote for the chassis.. Then i had a brain wave, why not give the chassis, a similar paint scheme to the body.... ( that just gave it all away.. ) Now, all these years, i thought these million dollar paintings were done by drug addicts or under 5's, Van Gough, Picasso etc but after playing around, i now know what was going on.... they didn't have a clue what they wanted to do........ This is a result of that same thing,..... i just kept buggering around until this.. Now, this is the last time you will see it like this, as this is ONLY THE BASE for what i have in mind... cheers, DeeCeeVanGough..

I think you were right about the million dollar paintings. I really like the color you started with, I would bet the finish will worth a million too.

Well..... i sort of had a play with some paint in the shed this morning, not sure on it, but it will do, as it is only the chassis.. Started with some masking tape. Then squirted some more paint. Then un-mask it all....

Agreed. This is looking good. You going to add more details to the interior. Thanks guys, Joel, i will do some more on the interior, would like to put in an ice bucket etc, just got to work out how... Had to change the seats, as they were too square, and stuck out through the windows.. Measure twice and cut once... thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon seem to have heard that somewhere before.. Next, was to cover the ugly joins in the roof, so i made a solid hood lining, which will be covered eventually. And also added some Styrene strips up the side to give it back some shape and definition.
