This build was a challenge from the start being that it's a fiberglass Jaymar body, crappy casting, very brittle and tons of flashing and bubbles, copied from a very old SMP or Revell kit... I think? I converted it to a two door from a four door, used a Revell '71 Cuda chassis (cut n shut in two directions), suspension and int tub as the donor kit and also stuffed a Hemi in it. The wheels are Pegasus with ThePartsBox rotors behind them. MCG p/e seat belt buckles, and p/e wipers, Pro Tech braided hoses and fittings, scratch made Optima battery, fuel and brake lines added, plus so much more. It's painted with old school Humbrol enamel, BMF'd and Alclad on the bumpers and front trim. I scratch made the mesh grille and the Plymouth emblem too. Hardest part was the acetate sheet windows, man were those curves a PITA! Lot of work went into this sucker but there ain't another one like it ...that I know of? Cheers TJ

One of a kind is right. Amazing work TJ and a lot of it too. I would imagine that fiberglass body was a real bugger to work with. Fine interior and chassis work. Gorgeous engine. Don't you just love those ProTech braided lines? I do, best in the business IMO. Great body work and trim. Makes me tremble and sweat just thinking about all that work. Be glad you are young and strong and able to do work like this. You did yourself proud on this one TJ.

Wow, thanks guys. This is one of my favorites, as I own a 4 door and would love a 2 door, this is as close as I'll probably get to owning one though. Dennis, I wish I was still young, thanks mate. Dale, cheers as always dude. Joe, wow thank you! Hurtz and Dodge5522, thanks guys.

Stunning build out of what is a real bad casting. Had one of these and one side was so thin that to sand it down for a nice paint job would have left me with half a car so ended up in the bin. Your attention to detailing and scratch building is spot on.

Thanks again guys, appreciate it. I've got another 5 of these bodies so some day in the future I'll do another one ... when I pluck up the courage to tackle all the work that's needed to do it. Here's a few more pics All the firewall and inner fenders are scratch built Cheers TJ

I have a soft spot for these Valiants and this one is beautiful! I really like how you made the side trim, following the bumper line up into the rear fender trim!

Thanks guys, Foxer, the trim line is stock, but I guess it's what adds to the style of these cars. Thanks Poet
