Made it back from Florida. Almost lost my Brother in law. His UTI got into his bloodstream, went septic and caused confusion and paranoia and he ended up retaining close to 35 pounds of water weight gain. The guy was bloated and screaming at everyone. They had to restrain him. First time I ever seen him cry in the 46 years I have known him. He is much better now. The bloating is gone, the infection is all but gone. He is much calmer and coherent and the restraints are gone. He undergoes another heart proceedure and will be put in rehab shortly after. On to other business!!
We go today to get my daughter a new car again. We had one issue after another with the insurance company on the hit and run that totaled our daughters car in our driveway. The insurance company lowballed us and tried to give us enough money to pay off 3/4s of her car leaving us holding the bag for the rest. I spent considerable time with my insurance company on the phone and sending e mails letting them know how ticked off I was. I was able to renegotiate a new dollar figure that paid off my daughters car and left us with $1300.00 dollars after it was paid off so we also now have a down payment for another car for her now.
My wife went out of town for her new job training for the week. Now it's just the daughter and I until Friday night. Now you would think that with all the hoopla I have gone through the last several weeks and the wife being out of town and the weather in the mid upper 70s I would have some time to get to one of my models and do some paint and building but NOOOOO!! There is so much residual stuff going on it looks like the week will be eaten up fixing things, putting out small fires, and cleaning up the house. So much for model building plans. Anyhow, I am back home and maybe next week I can get some model things going on. With all this going on I need a vacation, WAIT! Didn't I just take one lol?

It's really good to see that your brother in law is ok and that the insurance paid the car off and you pocketed some money out of it.
