Will attempt to build this kit, Will be built mostly stock. Can't decide on what engine to use. The stock flathead, the fire dome, or a 5.0L pushrod. Will more than likely be painted light blue with matching dash and gray interior

I think you'll like this kit. I've built it 5 times. And the engine options are pretty good.

Thanks to DeeCee for moving this thread. Have started to makes some progress on this. Finally got the cracking paint stripped and redone. Truck is painted Krylon Peekabo Blue with Krylon clear, Stripped the wheels and painted them body color. Then used chrome marker for caps and rings, Now I need y'alls opinion on grill and bumpers. Should I paint bumpers same color as grill? I'm thinking either white or a light cream color for grill. I've seen trucks with black, white, and grill color. what say thee?

I think minimal amount of colors works best, i would do the grill the same color as the bumpers mate.

Have don some more work on F100; most of it small. I got the grill done, Interior mostly done. Hate cameras, they show so much more than eye can pick out,ie. dash, Now for the help part. Unbeknownst to me, my dog knocked the clear parts off my table and this occurred with my foot, Looking for suggestions for "hiding" crack. I was thinking of using some testors clear glue. Bending open the crack and applying it, but not sure if it will work. Thanks in advance for your help.

Got more done on F100. Motor installed in chassis. As you can see, I went with Fire Dome and injector stack. I've touched up the brake drums since picture was taken. Will have to rig mounting front tires. Mounted front axle/brakes the way it showed in instructions. Can't get axle to go through chassis since oil pan in the way. Can't separate axle from chassis, so I think I will mount wheel back directly to drums. Live and learn. Wont be any updates until glass arrives,THANKS PAUL!!
