Thanks for the comments Tubbs, Joe and Dale hope to have more of this build happening in the next couple of days, as I am working on the 78 truck at the moment. Normally Tubbs I would do it that way but I wanted the depressions in the floor pan to line up and not look like they are shortened as with the center section I cut after one of the impressions and then cut the next one after hoping it will end up looking seamless and untouched. Dale thought the same when I tried it as on the lid, it was a bright red and it actually turned out a real deep red which I am really happy about and at $10 for 4 large cans that I got various colours I'm not complaining. Cheers you know Steve, after I typed that, I thought that is what you may be doing. had to open my big mouth. build is looking great, I am saving the pictures for when I finally get mine to the bench. |

Thanks Joe looking at it now may have to extend the drivers side between the header and the muffler and shorten the exhuast from the muffler to the tail tip so I can get the mufflers even

Thanks for all your comments everyone. Will be starting the wiring on the engine tonight and hopefully have the motor finished this weekend with all the accessories. While we have had good weather put on a couple of clear coats over the past couple of days and given the body a quick buff . Have to finish off the bmf on the door handles and fix a small bit of the paint where I rubbed through then will give the body a couple more clear coats and then its final polish and then onto the interior. Thanks everyone for the comments. Believe it or not the pics don't do it justice as the paint is like a mirror but just cant seem to get a decent pic of it for some reason. Think it may be the amount of metal flake in the paint reflecting the light, even the bmf gets lost in it.

Thanks Ken and thanks Bruce for your comments. Think I will be going until the end of next year if I don't start any more Bruce as I have about 30 or so stalled/back burner builds in the stash.
