I agree, nice choice.
I did see one last year I looked in my rvm and saw a pristine example about to pass me!
My wife asked what it was because she knew it was older and the condition of it impressed her.
I've always loved these cars.

The paintwork looks nice and is true to the example. These were cool sports cars and were not that expensive. Everybody dumped the cheap Japanese hub caps and invested in the slotted aluminum wheel you see on the kit box.
I had a friend with a green Datsun 260Z who use to tease me from the stoplights against my '71 455HO Trans Am. The "Z" was lightening fast off the line, but give me 5-6 or so car lengths and I would go by him like he was tied to a post...
A gallon of regular...26.9.... Sunoco 260.....33.9....pack of cigarettes....$0.55....life was good.....
I am anxious to watch the progress on the build....please keep us posted.
