This was bought as a bad built up, super thick paint and a garbage chassis with broken front suspension and no rear suspension. First a complete tear down. Then a dip in the tub for a strip goes the body. Interior and glass and chrome is good. Found that the Revell 71 Torino GT chassis is a direct fit with no altering and its detailed better. I bought one and built the chassis up and it works perfect. Here is some pictures of the resto in progress. Day one, After a night in the stripper, Later the same day, New chassis built and under the body.

Pretty color. One of my favorites. That's the molded plastic body. I can get this color pretty close in paint but I was thinking of some high impact color to make this one stick out.

It's still pretty. I've opened a few kits that pretty color plastic body's with no blemishes, went over them with rubbing compound and then clear coated and they shone like a new dollar and I built them that way on the build.

Wish I could do that with this one but the paint ate into the body in places Round the body. Kind of flat there and some hints of yellow. Had to sand it in these places and the finish is gone. It will have to get painted for sure. Might go to the LHS and see if Tamiya makes a color close to this?

I didn't even know this car existed, let alone there was a model of it. Will be watching from the shadows

I must see some of the projects underway. Something tells me I'll be learning a lot of cool tricks.
