Very, VERY nice work. I to have always loved the sloped wing spans on the F4 Corsairs. They were definitely a game changer for the U.S. back in the day.

That's a beauty there Lee! At 1/32nd scale it makes these bad boys really stand out with all the added detail. Great work man.

They were definitely a game changer for the U.S. back in the day. praising-the-lord-smiley-emoticon IDK if you know it or not but here's a brief history on the reason behind the wing design. The prop that came out on that bird was HUGE so some extra ground clearance was needed. The gull wing design provided just the clearance that was needed without making the landing gear into long "stork" legs that would have sacrificed rigidity for carrier based landings.
