It's all primed but I cant get pb to load. Still going to do a few extra coats on the areas with filler in, I know one might need a little extra work

The hood is looking amazing. I'm always afraid to try thing like that. I should try it at least once. Great job Les.

I'm sure you both have some scrap pieces you'll never use. Just have a practise on them and if it doesn't work you've not really lost anything

Go the K/K color mate, it will set it off i reckon . That charcoal grey does look good. Silver would too. Really whatever color you personally like will look good. I don't think you are going to do wrong no matter what on this build. Just do it and it will work.

We'll see what happens, it will have to go with a red interior so most options are on the table

Well the hood on this is really putting up a fight, between filler sinking, filler lifting and pin holes it's got me at the point of considering running hoodless or painting it silver to hide the scruffy bits. Everything else body wise is ready for paint, and the interior just needs flocking but it's nearly there. Also if you look at the body the primer is changing colour even though it's all from the same tin (some of it is just wet)

Sorry to hear about your probs. You could in fact go hoodless. Do you think you could whip up some engine compartment covers like they have on most customs these days? That would work and wouldn't look goofy. Good luck bro!

I have had the same problem in the past and have used thinly applied super glue then sanded it back and after priming everything stayed in place. Hope this may help you Cheers Steve

I've had the same problem in the past and threw the sucker on the floor, stepped on it and went out and bought a new model. I hope this helps you some mate. Cheers Dennis.

When you primer it, DON'T rub through to the plastic, keep doing the primer until it is smooth, but never rub through, this usually stops the sink and reactions.
Looking good too mate.

It might work out for the best, the stripper I use removes filler too and starting over will probably/hopefully be quicker than trying to fix what there already. My only concern is if the glue softens and the bits I did with superglue and baking soda since it melts/absorbs the stripper

All this stripper talk reminds me I need to go get some one dollar bills!! One dollar bills don't work anymore, if it is less than five they won't even come to your table!.......or so they tell me, I wouldn't know.
