When i build muscle cars, they are usually Mopars, but 2 of the last 3 builds were Mopars, so i thought i would go with something different. This is the Foose Firebird, with a nice set of wheels, which just need tucking up under those fenders a bit more.. Also, i am going to modernize the intake set up a bit, as the blower is a bit Puke_zpspwvmf68g ..

This is my favorite Foose kit. I have one in hand and one on the way. So many kit wheels are crap but I too like the wheels in this one. Can't wait to see this one come together.

Sorry to disappoint guys, but there wont be much going on with this build, it will be a pretty basic one, as there is a 1/12 Camamro about to take up a lot of the bench. Well, i scratch built an inlet for it. ( this is the second one, i still can't find the first one i did).. I%20dunno_zpsgjbxiscc And threw a bit of paint at it about 10 mins ago..

Nice scratch building work and the usual beautiful paint job. What color is that. Looks almost like teal which is one of my favorites.

Cheers Tom, John, thanks guys. Well, i went for something different color wise on the interior, as i am over black interiors. And after polish and BMF, i think it contrasts well with the body color.

This really looks good buddy. That interior looks like you took it out of a car and set it on the table. You know I have heard that if you rub your finger over the seat the oils from your finger will give it a sheen and make it look like leather. So maybe if you finger your seat it would help.

Cheers guys, i should have this finished today. Dennis, i have tried that previously, and it does work, and gives the seat that "used look". I am more going for that "new show" build, so don't want grubby seats, but good tip mate .

Wow Dale wicked job on the paintwork and that intake is looking real cool. Wish I could build as fast with the talent you have, lucky if I have even planned a build in the time you finish them. Just a question do you thin down the rattle can paint to air brush as my wife bought me an air brush set up and have never used one before. Cheers Steve

Cheers Steve Cheers Steve, sounds like a great wife too mate.. Yes, i just squirt some paint in an air brush jar, add about 50% thinners, and go for it, if it is too thin and not covering, just add more paint mate. I presume you are talking Auto paint. like Dupli-color cans? that's my main source of paint. Joe, this build , shows why i don't build basic OOB, cos it would cost me a fortune to build a kit every week.. Well, she's done, finished pics soon guys..

Cheers Tom, John, thanks guys. Well, i went for something different color wise on the interior, as i am over black interiors. And after polish and BMF, i think it contrasts well with the body color. There is a color like that in a can, they call it "Sandlewood". I have used it on an interior build and it looked great! I love this Firebird kit, I used to have 3 of them. Well you have my vote, ah . . . . . . that is, you already had my vote before I got here!! LOL!!! cant-believe-my-eyes-smiley-emoticon And I had to look twice at the color, it looks great in the voting post! David S.
