is a fairly good kit iceman looks like your going a the touring route or the next best to it bigger wheels and tires on old muscle car sorta hard to blow it with a chevelle well mostly lol looking forard to your heavy chevy joel

Looks real good buddy. Engine looks great. You do real well with the Alclad. I picked up a can of Dupli-Color chrome the other day and I like it. Not quite as good as Alclad but good enough. Looks like chrome and not silver.

You told me about Spaz Stix before and I got some and I liked it, as you said not quite as good as Alclad but then what is? I got the Dupli-color chrome because there is a large auto parts store close to my house that carries all the Dupli-color products. Just easier for me to get is all. When I get my airbrush going I plan to use Alclad. It's nice to have an alternative though.

Dennis, I use that universal chrome from Dupli-Color a lot.
So long as you do not clear coat it, it stays pretty nice.
I have even tried Future, and simple polish, no matter what, if you put any kind of clear on it, it tends to dull down to something similar to aluminum

I love using that stuff, especially for paint jobs as a base. The big Hawaiian Funny Car I used this chrome, then added a few coats of the clear blue, (the stuff we are to use for windows), and that really came out well. I want to get into the whole alcad world someday, but right now, the spray chrome paints keep getting better and better
