I built this for a friend to display in his man cave, as it was in a plane his father flew in the Air Force. It was a serious change of pace for me. I did enjoy building it, and the kit went together well. He is very pleased with the engine.

I've seen this kit before and it's a REALLY cool one. What scale is that one again as I can't remember.
It did turn out to be a good build though Andy.

It's 1/12 scale. Really builds into a nice piece.

It's 1/12 scale. Really builds into a nice piece. Is that the Atlantis re release? They are a reasonable price compared to getting an original.

The kit I found was the original but I see no disadvantages to the new release.

Glad to see this, I have wanted to see one built. I also want to build the Allison Tubro Prop engine but I just haven't pulled the trigger on getting one. I really don't need either one as I am really running out of room but you know us modelers, we will MAKE room if we want it bad enough. Your build looks super nice. At my age, all my stuff is starting to look like I have extra thumbs and heavy hands. Age sure does hammer your modeling skills but I'm gonna gloo until I take my last breath!
