I stumbled across the link to this forum on Zippi's Youtube Channel and thought I would check it out. I see a few familiar faces and builds and look forward to spending some time here. Like many, I built models when I was a kid and have returned to the hobby since I've retired. I've mostly done out-of-the-box builds as I try to develop the skills and learn the craft. I enjoy building all sorts of cars and trucks primarily in 1/24 or 1/25 scale. On the bench right now I've got the Atlantis Tom McKewan rear engine dragster and an old Monogram '59 Impala convertible. Waiting in the stash are models that run the gamut from the tiny Tamiya Fiat Abarth, to various hot rods and customs, as welll as a Porsche and Bugatti in 1/12 scale. So many cool models to build and so little time. I hope that by expanding my connections in the scale auto model building world I'll learn enough to do the models justice and have fun in the process. Thanks for the welcoming messages I've received. Andrew

We couldn't be happier that you have joined up Andrew and we're looking forward to seeing your work and chatting with you along the way bud. That Tom McKewan dragster sounds like a cool subject to follow as does the 59 Impala. I've used parts from the Monogram Impala to build the AMT 59 El Camino I built a few years back and was happy with the parts from the Revell/ Monogram offering. I'll also be looking forward to the upcoming builds that you've listed off as well. You've come to the right place in which to expand your "people base" in modeling Andrew and we're looking forward to learning a thing or two from you as well. Welcome aboard Andrew.
