I got this a few months ago and finally got around to building it. I was pretty excited to see it when it was announced. I never thought I'd see a kit of a Canadian vehicle, let alone a Canadian Mercury truck! The kit itself isn't too bad. My only problem being the installation of the clear pieces. Which they tell you to do from the inside. The windshield needs to be placed in from the front. The fit to the frame is also a little hard to get right. Installation of the lettering for the decals kinda sucks too. Each letter is its own decal. Not fun to put on and I lost the M for the hood. Which is quite small. Over all though, it is a very nice kit and a welcome addition to my collection. Mate, that is one very tidy build, and your paint is really looking great,
especially considering your still using a brush, outstanding job Eric.

Thanks, my only problem with painting now is the paint not wanting to stick or the clear coat wanting to strip the paint. HL stopped selling the paint I used to use. Same for the clear coat. The clear coat they sell now is garbage. |

Okay, this is cool. You don't see Mercury trucks IRL in the states and I know they are rare rigs indeed. But, to see one in scale and so well done is awesome. Thank you for showing us this amazing kit.

Now how cool is this?!! I had to do a double take when I first saw this Eric as the M E R C U R Y lettering on the hood caught my attention.  Great colors on this and thank you for sharing this not so often seen truck with us buddy.  |
