That..............looks really good there Dale. Wow!! How much did you have to gut that thing to get all that to work? True inspiration to me in my quest to pull off my Pro Street version of the VW.

Joe, it was one hell of a build mate, it took me 3 months, most of my builds take 3-4 weeks. But it was fun, just trying to make everything work, and still look right. As it was an F1 rear and engine, i narrowed it all to fit, and went from there.. Thanks too mate,,

My all time fastest builds were a tie between my Dauntless Dive Bomber and my 1970 Challenger T/A, both which took four months......each!!! Most of my builds fall within the 10-12 MONTH category. It's probably a good thing though as display space is limited.

Thanks men, David, it was a very scrutinized build at the time, so everything had to be believable, the radiators cool through the side vents as you have noticed, and the engine breathes through the roof scoop, this build did my head in at the time making everything work, especially the trans-axle.

I'd love to do a MOTM build, but when I'm up against builds like this I just sit in the corner. Well done Dale.

build looks great, i have one of these and was thinking on a Ferrari rear trans axle and motor. i may have to get mine out after seeing yours.

Cheers men, Tubbs, i have as much model time as i want.... no missus... but i usually spend a couple of hours each night in the model room, and a few hours over the week-end, depending on what else i need to do, or can be bothered doing..
