This is my 2nd favorite Corvette body style... the C7 is just mean looking.
As a way to keep motivated and the creative juices flowing, I decided to knock out this one. Although the black/silver body is prepainted, it is a glue kit. Interior, engine and bits were painted. And those decals... Those decals are a... ummm... well we'll just say a chore.
This is my second build of this kit and I have one more that'll probably be orange. It's a pretty decent kit.
As always, thanks for looking... On to the next

very cool vette, the pre painted kits are great fun for a quick build and revells seem to be among the best of em

I've not seen these pre-painted kits yet and did NOT know that this kit was one of those......especially since it's a Foose kit. I had an absolute BLAST building my Foose FD-100 a few years back.
I like what you've done here to get the mojo back up & running Jeremy and it turned out fabulous man. What's the engine look like in that bad boy?

Man, that build looks smokin' hot.
As I've gotten older I've found that I have a growing fondness for Vettes. When this new style came out I hated the taillights because I wanted them all to be round forever. I have sense realized that they look better with these and I am much more accepting of the changes being made to the Vette.
Super cool build and well done.

I worked for General Motors for almost 20 years and have always liked Vettes (except for the C4's) and thought the same thing as you when these came out. Some things are just destined to change in the name of moving forward and like you, I couldn't stand the rear of these cars when they first came out, but they ended up growing on me over time. Now it's the new ones that I have a problem with. LOL. I feel the same way about GM trucks. I have a 1990- and 1994-year model Silverado's and cannot STAND these newer "cake boy" trucks with all of the fancy bells and whistles and being so high up that you cannot simply just reach over into the bed and grab something when you need it. Although I do own a 2014 Silverado, I much prefer either of the older two to drive because they are what I cut my teeth on in dealers 30ish years ago.

I had a paid off 2018 GMC but sold it after 5 years for a profit and I drive the older stuff as I can work on it and it doesn't act like a smart phone. My pride and joy is my 82 K10 I've owned for 30 years. She was rough when I got it, but now she's a gem and worth a ton.

I'm pretty sure there's a Challenger that was prepainted in this line as well, but I've never been able to get my hands on it.
Unfortunately, I didn't take any pics of it before assembly. Now much like the real thing, you really can't see the engine for the cover. I will definitely get pics of the next one.

The taillights really didn't bother me all that much. I think it's because they fit the design so well... Still not sold on the C8 just yet though.

Neither had i mate, but a friend gave me a PS4 to go race with him... then i NEEDED a wheel and pedals, then i "needed" a sim rig.... you know how it goes, but it is a good time waster and stress relief racing with a couple of mates some nights.

Nice Vette, looks great in the sun, could be fooled for thinking it's a real car.
