As some of you already know, DDA here in Australia are producing some Aussie cars in 1/24 plastic form. ALL kits can be purchased in various forms, from STOCK right through to Twin turbo and Blown. First release was the Holden HQ Sedan and HJ Holden panel van, Second rel;ease was the Ford XY GTHO Falcon, ( also dod an XW, but i didn't buy one of those. Third release was the little LC and LJ Torana. They have also done some engine packages. More to come, not sure what is next though.. MY STASH so far.

I commend these guys for having a shot, but really wish they would use an actual car and 3d scan it. The proportions just aren't quite right. The XW/XY is probably the worst. But, I still bought the Mad Max HJ Panelvan.
Having said that though, doing the engines as a seperate kit is a great move!

Yeah, the HQ Sedan is a tad off in the roof line too. They have all the plans for the Di-cast ones so i don't see how hard it is to get the plastic right. I now see why so many Americans complain about the kits they have grown up driving, and we have simply taken for granted for so many years

Must be pretty awesome to see these produced Dale, regardless of there accuracy someone producing Australian burnout cars is pretty amazing ! As for those engines what a bonus, I'd grab a few of each if I wasn't the other side of the planet !!
