I figured since I was going to paint and take at least 8 of my 68-9 Dodge darts to the next level like I did my Dodge trucks last year. Anyhoo, when the wife said that I had $75 to spend the way I wanted. Well it didn't take me long to figure out that one more Dart to the assembly line wasn't going to hurt and a big tire Hemi/Lenco combo would be the exception The chassis builder bases his rear half off the AMT 67' Chevelle Pro Street and says it uses the rear suspension from it, Iceman555 had one on eBay at the right price so it is now a donor This will be the body the body that will be on it Part of my Xmas allowance went towards this chassis Tonight I decided to start fitting the interior to the chassis

This should be interesting. That's what I thought when I pulled the chassis out of the box

These are my "go to" kits along with the AMT Nova Pro Street for such applications. They work perfectly!!
Your build looks good so far BTW.

I got it off eBay, It's cast with the hard brittle resin unlike the resin stuff that I've been getting over the past couple years. Saw and sand, very little cutting anything with a knife

I've used this style of resin before quite a bit. I haven't decided a color yet, that's the hardest part is picking the color

I've been whittling on the dash some to fit the rollcage but figure that I may use these Hoosier street tires from a Revell Pro Street 67' Chevelle for setup pics of the cage coming soon

Any more progress on this? Nice Looking build. By the way, the guy who cast these chassis is in my club. He is a real good guy, but in my opinion, his castings leave something to desired.

I haven't done anything else with it for now, I'm still trying to gather all the parts that I want to use and trying to decide if I want to cut the trans tunnel out and put a Pro Stock style tunnel in. You're right about it's shortcomings, my problem with it is height using the stock kit front suspension. If you build the rear the way you're supposed to it sits way too high for me. Even with the tall tires in the pic and the suspension built as per fitment there is still 3/16" gap between tire and tub. To close that gap and get the car lower you need a Pro Stock style trans tunnel and lower the suspension The front will require funny car spindles with control arms used with a fabbed tubular K member
