Just thought I'd strike up a thread just for fun to see what everyone's two favorite builds are and why. I'll lead everything off with mine. Ask anyone who knows me and right off the bat they'll tell you that I'm a huge Luftwaffe fan and even more so of the Focke Wulf Fw190 line up. Of all of the 190 variants (the A's, the D's and the Ta-152's) it's the D series that catches my eye as the Cadillac of the sky. A sleek, fast and evil looking machine that has the firepower punch to back it all up with two 13mm cowl machine guns and two 20mm cannon in the wing roots. Capable of speeds in excess of 450mph with an inverted V-12 supercharged engine, they were more than able to hold their own against our deadly P-51 Mustangs and P-47 Thunderbolts. My 1/48 scale Tamiya.....ish Fw190 D-9 And then there's the automotive side of the house where I've always had a love for the 56 Ford F-100. I took an interest in these trucks early on in my teenage years when Revell released the Street Demons version of this truck. What I did here was take the Foose FD-100 and turn it into a "Demon II" build with a shiny black paint job. The flames were masked and a light airbrushing of Alclad was used and then sealed with Wet Look clear. Wheels and tires were sourced and I lowered the truck even more than the Foose kit already had it. Fun build with some more than satisfactory results. There's mine......let's see your two gang.

Great builds Joe, setting a very high standard here too mate. So, because I haven't started my FW190, I'll pick these 2. I was just super happy with how this turned out. Had some struggles with it but got there. Never saw this in real life but it was in a book i had, still have actually. One of Dad's subbies had an earlier White with a GM engine. Pretty sure that's where I caught the White/Western Star bug from. And this is number 2. All the modifications actually worked!

2 absolutely Beautiful trucks Deano! It was hard for me to narrow down, but these would be my favourite 2. The Porsche was a great build, everything just worked out how I wanted it to:
And the Skyline was a very long build! (around 4 years to finally get it done, with plenty of breaks in between). So many mods on this model I lost count, parts from 8 kits as well as parts from 3 aftermarket companies. I wanted to mash different styles together for this "What if" build.

Deano : I remember both of those builds out of you Tim and they still floor me to this day. I know there was some extensive work that went into both of those builds which makes 'em extra special. Great work and good show buddy. RetroSpectKustoms: Two beauties that I have good memories of seeing built up as well Bruce. Every now and then a kit just goes together well, and it looks like that Porsche did just that. That Skyline looks GREAT as well. Four years??!! WOW!!!

One of my new faves is my Corvair, but since I just posted it I'll do two others.
I did this 67 Impala in pearl white with a grey and orange burnt orange interior. I designed and printed a louvered hood vent to replace the stock one and added , a custom console, and some wheels.
The Mustang is a replica of one of the factory Ford AFX cars for 1966, the last year for the stock chassis AFX cars.
I did a lot of research for this one, including visiting a local guys collection that had this in his stable. Much of the suspension was reworked to get the correct look. Really a fun build.

Dang it Dennis ( poet)!! Both of those cars turned out great man. Love the work that you did on that Chevelle, especially with the hood louvres. That Mustang turned out really spiffy as well. Is that the Revell or AMT kit?

First off, I gotta start taking better pics of builds. Limiting me to just two of my favorite "car" builds I would have to say my 67 Chevelle and my Sauber-Mecedes C9.
