Update 31.07.24 Decals difficult to lay up on dashboard with raised areas. Decal onto scrap plastic, clear gloss, cut out and attach to dashboard. Test fit body> May decal before final fit to clear gloss first.

Cheers Joe. Many moons ago, we had a Press Officer of Audi GB as a neighbour. One evening he bought home the first Audi Quattro in the UK! Showing my interest whilst building a kit car, he took me out in it, the power and road-holding was incredible. Even better when we were about 5 or so miles away he said 'you drive' and I bought it and him home. What an experience having only seen one in a motor magazine in pre-production photo's!

Now THAT had to be a good experience Pat. When I was a kid I got the same treatment from an older friend of mine that had a 1970 Charger R/T when he let me have the keys and told me to take 'er for a spin. Awesome stuff man.

The windows are in.. The decals are started, since taking this photo, I've put a drop of decal softener on the leading edge the wing to wrap the decal over the bonnet clip.

Nice work here Pat but imagine trying to get that spare out in a hurry midway through a competitive rally stage!

Yes Deano. Although that's in the instructions it's an odd place to put it. I suppose as it's a hatchback it might work!

It's been fun following your build here Pat. Love the changes you made to this one to give it a little more character and detail bud.

Wow, another great build. I do love me those rally cars. This is really getting me itching to build one. I wish the kits weren't so much money.
