Hope I'm not the only geezer on here old enough to remember this show. This is the primary helicopter used on the late 50's show The Whirlybirds, N975B. I combined landing gear and instrument panel from MRC's Bell 47D, and the balance from Revell's 47G kit. Decals were done by Speedway Decals. That's a good lookin' helo there Lee! BTW....I think I do in fact have a picture of the bird that I crewed in Korea back in '93. I'll round it up.

I don't know much about helicopters but that's a good looking build. I think I have heard of the show though I have never seen it

Whirlybirds....hell yes.....along with others like Seahunt, Highway Patrol, The Rifleman, Bonanza, etc..... I even remember going to the movie theater (they had them back then) to see the first secret agent James Bond 007 movie, Goldfinger.....and the only car I could think of from then on was that silver Aston-Martin DB-5....I think Henry Ford hated that movie after Sean Connery sliced & diced that nice, shiny Mustang Convertible..... And none of these were re-runs...... And......I don't think I am THAT old...!!!....lol
