I really like this a lot. I just don't see these being built muchand it's a good change of pace. Sharp ride buddy.  |

Big honkin' Hemi! I know my paint sucks and the generic foil job leaves a lot to be desired, but on the other hand - It's not a street car (no wipers or side mirror)
and no drag car (no window lettering). BTW, all of the fuel lines, linkage, the 2 fuel filters, plug wire, throttle cable, fuel T is 2 chunks of hex bead glued together) ALL from my girlfriend's jewelry kit! If the little old lady from Pasadena got pulled over and the cop found bath salts in her purse, this would be her ride....... This is the Lindberg Super Stock Ramchargers kit in case you're wondering, wheels are from Scenes Unlimited, other stuff is from my MoPar junkyard..

Sweet, it's a bit of a sleeper with those wheels and I didn't notice the slicks until the chassis pic

Big honkin' Hemi! I know my paint sucks and the generic foil job leaves a lot to be desired. Actually the paint's not too bad. You're only a step or two from having it all ironed out. With a little wet sanding to knock the orange peel off and some polishing it would look like glass.
The Lindberg kit eh? I may have to invest some of my money here. Your detail work and creativity with the materials it took to achieve it are phenomenal. Again.....awesome build.
P.S. Did those wheels and tires come in the kit?

Thanks everyone I appreciate your comments! Mustang I think Lindberg came out with 3 Super Stock Dodge 330 kits, the Ramchargers, the Color Me Gone, and the Mavericks. I think the Color Me Gone kit has a Max Wedge but not sure.. These slicks came with the kit, but the front tires, all 4 wheels, hubcaps, and wheel backs came from Scenes Unlimited. Dan can hook you up, he has loads of quality stuff on his site. Ramchargers kit gives you rear steelies (not that great), and front Torque thrusts. Model Roundup has this one and I think the other 2, plus a completely stock Dodge 330 with your choice of a 6 banger or a 383.....

Just got home from taking my son to a hockey game (which is where I responded to you from earlier) and went to that scenes unlimited site. Lot's of things to ponder over while I was there.... icon_hmm_zps07rcoppf . I'll be looking into that Lindberg kit real quick and sprucing it up with a couple of goodies from this site. I like the fact that Dodge took an ugly car, crammed a horribly powerful engine into it and sold it to the public! Those were the days...I had a beautiful '70 Road Runner triple black 383 auto, then I got divorced..

Thanks for all of your comments all! As far as the wheels/tires from Scenes Unlimited, I used the Mopar Combo, you get front skinnys, rear deep dish ones, dog dish hubcaps and 2 front bearing caps. Great quality stuff!

I bought my Road Runner for 5500 bucks while in high school, I wish I would have known......I kind of went for the sleeper look on this Dodge, maybe a grocery-getter from hell that Grandma drives to piss of the neighbors?  |
