C1 resin trans kit but I didn't us the interior as it left no room for an engine. Since its a van I used a late model aircooled engine from the t3 bus so its double the usual horsepower for a beetle and a lower engine so the floor isn't too high. Speaking of the floor it a very heavily modifed one from the t3 camper so i could use the engine bay. I've also modifed a set of 70s beetle bumpers to look like early golf gti bumpers. I'm not sure what the wheels are from but they are heavily modified at the rear for maximum dish. Its also slammed but I'm sure you expected that, lol. So thats the 5th vw project i have on the go just now and i think I've managed to keep them all different enough to keep them interesting |

The paint looks too nice to stay with the black bumpers so I think I'll be using chrome ones now

after over 3 years this is back on the bench. its further along than i remembered too so thats a bonus.
edit; on closer inspection this needs repainted due to damage from cleaning the dust off so its off the bench again.
