Hi all, its been a while since I posted a WIP so I thought this may be an interesting project to share. It is the terrific and popular Tamiya Mustang GT4 kit in the bright "VOLT Lighting" livery. I acquired the decals from "IndyCals" and the Volt Yellow paint from "Gravity Colors" paints. I am also awaiting the arrival of the Studio 27 carbon fiber precut decals. So far I have painted the body, polished the clear coat, painted the wheels, and scuffed the tires. So far so good:

I've seen this kit and despite the fact that it's a curbside kit I've gotta say that I've been impressed by what I've seen so far of it. Looking VERY much forward to your take on this bad boy. Awesome color too.

Thanks, guys. The color is quite bright over white primer. It actually looks a little more harsh with in the picture with the lighting.

Just a quick update: I am working on the suspension and chassis and should be done soon. Pictures to follow. In the meantime I finally received the "Studio 27" carbon fiber precut decals.

As Promised I have pictures of the finished chassis and wheels/tires. The chassis has some unique colors (silvers and golds) that I am not used to seeing on a chassis. Pay not attention to the top of the fuel cell because it will be hidden by a cover. This is a nice kit with plenty of detail and excellent fitment.

Well I have completed the "Volt" livery decals on this one and thought I would provide you with an update. I also added the front and rear lighting. All that remains for the body is the glass and aerodynamic parts that need to be decaled with carbon fiber. first.

....And I was able to complete the model shortly thereafter which was just a matter of putting in all together and adding finishing touches. Here is one photo and I will be creating another thread in the finished section.
