I'm sitting out this months motm and am hoping to get some of my unfinished builds done instead. This one has been sitting for 3 years so its first in line. Its the tamiya kit and the previous thread is in motm here . The roof has been chopped and the rear window flipped upside down as it flows better than cutting it down. The trunk has been smoothed o lose the humpiness from it and again to flow better. The engine is stock and the suspension is lowered. Wheels are from an imai 58 caddy. I'm sure theres more been done but it was a while ago and my memory aint tha hot. Hers a few pics from the previous round of work done. bumper is a modified vw van rear bumper as it has a nicer shape, the stock jag one is very square (just like most mk2 owners, lol). I thought I was further along with this but aparently not but the plan is still the same as before. Paint will be straight gloss black with a mint green interior. I think to save some work I'll leave it as a 4 door so I dont have to chop up the interior but I havent looked in the box yet so I may have to rethink that if Ive already started. Hard to believe this is from the second month of the forum start

I think there was one done a lot of years ago with a daimler version. It was in hot car or one of that era mags in a show report. I think it was one of the scrappers done up for a show cruiser rather than a serious build and probably mostly filler and chicken wire in those days, lol. I dont know why but I'm thinking it was that lot that advertised as c.r.a.p from cornwall in the late 70s/early 80s
