So here is my entry for the Big Rigs build off. The 1:24 Mack cab is from KFS, awesome resin! It comes with either right hand or left hand drive option. The chassis and engine are from the Italeri Madam Butterfly kit. The body is from the 1:24 Don's Towing Peterbilt kit I cut it down to suit the single axle and widened the body to suit the wheel base width.
The bumper is a white metal jobbie that comes with the conversion kit. The wipers are photo etch, pinstripes from Auslowe and the number plate is an old Kangaroo Decals one where you get to put the individual numbers and letters on.
I made a new rear panel and recessed the tail lights. The tow pin tower is scratch built. I made up a new boom and support tower, control box, hydraulic tank and lines. The tow cable is the wire used to hang picture frames with a wash applied. The working lights are white metal with a photo etch exhaust. The rear mudflaps are decals from a DM800 kit I think on white plastic.
The door decals are also Kangaroo items. You put on the blue background, then the white as an overlay then the individual letters for Dexters. The 24hr heavy towing are already done.
Not too much under body detail but I did add the locker boxes and a PTO pump and lines. Thanks for looking guys.
