Very cool Mike!! I hate spiders, but that spider rear end is cool! I like what you have done to the ride, looks great. One thing I would consider, paint that engine blood red to match the curtains! And, oh well, what the hell, add some more spiders to it here and there, Lol

That's not spooky, These are really creepy:
A bit more appropriate for your lady friend's "T":
These come Pre-Ratted:
An update for the traditional gun carriage for a military funeral:
They're still popular in some Asian countries: This one was killed by the Fukushima disaster:

And here was me thinking I'd spotted something new!
I was surprised at just how many of those things are still around; some of the horse-drawn ones are even more elaborately carved but it seems you need internal combustion horsepower to haul around the big confectionery on the roof!
There's a chap called Kuksi whose an artist that comes up with some really weird stuff but I don't think any of his "Cathederal-on-tracks" designs have ever been built full size: they have inspired some wargames modellers to produce similar items a transport for their Doomsday Cultists...
I have seen photos of full-size Gothmobiles though, so your friend is certainly not alone.
The local(ish) purveyor of plastic has the AMT 1965 Chevy El Camino "Gear Hustler" and I was thinking that could be the basis for a hot-rodded hearse, but then I thought the 1959 version would be even better. But again I was late off the mark; someone has done it full size already...
Hell, it looks as if every sort of hearse known to man has been hot-rodded, pro-streeted or Ratted! Even Lego have done one!

M

First off this is a very well built ride. Love all the touches to it as well. Don’t see many Oldsmobile engines out there these days.
Thanks for posting up all those pics moramarth. Interesting to see what’s out there.
