Anyone know of a good reliable chromer for model kit(plastic)parts? I used little motor Kar company last time but I’m not sure if he’s still doing it.
I know there’s a guy doing it in Europe but I don’t feel to happy about sending the parts that far.

That tends to smudge if you touch it even after it’s dried. I believe there is a sealer that works great for that but I don’t own or know how to airbrush.

If you leave it for a week its not so bad, i also wear disposable gloves to handle it after its been done as its the oils from your skin that wreck the finish. I haven't used this place but i have heard it mentioned by others littlemotorkar and there is another. If I can suggest a look on mcm's forum there is a thread on chroming and places that do it. It can take a bit of searching but it is there somewhere. Please let us know how you get on, i have a set of caddy bumpers i need done
