I was asked recently for some pics of my old Datsun, so thought id create a thread instead of posting them all as pm`s !
So here you go Les, hope its of some help !
Bit of history for you....
This is a 1976 Datsun Cedric 260C, built originally in 1997 it was one of the UKs very first lowriders to run hydraulics ! Had a lucky escape as the original builder bought it off a guy who was going to banger race it , but realising it was too clean he let it go !
So over the years the hydraulics were upgraded, and the car was paiinted, first white then later blue metalflake, with a new interior including small mirror tiles and colour TV ! Looked fantastic if i can find a pic ill post one up !
The builder then blew the 2.6L straight six engine, and decided to sell..
So once sold the new owner added a 2.8L six with an auto box, and decided to paint it ! Colour is Proton Inca Gold, and he also painted the interior and added gold fur !
Id been after the car since it was built, never thought id ever get it, but i wanted it ! So after pestering the owner at a show he finally took a deposit and i picked it up a week later... 
I had it for around 5 years, didnt change much but redone a lot of the hydraulics. I always intended to use the car to learn about hydraulics, so all the fluid lines were replaced, and i added accumulators ( gas filled bottles which act as suspension ) The switches were removed from the interior and i ran a switch box which could be used outside the car ! The engine had new bits and pieces as i could hold of them, handy as i worked at Nissan at the time !
At one show i was hopping the car around so much i found id snapped both front shock absorber mounts... So i removed the shocks and carried on ! It never did get the shocks replaced, certainly used to confuse the local MOT station 
Oh i miss this car, loved ever minute of owning it, but its still going today, still clean and bouncing around !
