I really tip my hat to you for taking this build on Mike. I tried one of these and the fit was so dang terrible I didn't finish it. Nothing lined up in the right spots it seemed like. Any tips in making this build go together to where the engine and interior all fit in the right places?
Awesome paint work as usual. I've always liked this car.

Another stellar result Mike.
Just super.
Did you see where they rolled the real one? It was tough to watch.
The original driver and Jay Leno were doing the wheelstands with it and he decides to turn left. I understand that the car has a spool, so it is not very "turn friendly". It did a barrel roll.
It only rolled once, but the way it's edited you would think it went over several times. I hope that they are rebuilding it. It may be done by now, as this happened a while ago.

Thanks very much guys,appreciate your comments  Joe,I didn't have any problem at all with the engine and interior lining up on the chassis.The only problem I did have was with the black paint fade. Maybe you had a older kit,Joe? |

Maybe you had a older kit,Joe? This is entirely possible. I SO wanted to build this car too. It was the only build that I've ever just resolved myself to "unbuildable". I don't deem models as unbuildable but that one just flat out SUCKED. I may have to come back to this with a newer kit. |
